There are very few accolades within the world of tennis that Novak Djokovic hasn’t won.
The Serbian had a truly remarkable 2011 in which he claimed the Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open titles on his way to becoming the world number one.
As if that wasn’t enough for ‘NoDjo’, he has also won the heart of Jelena Ristic.
The pair have been dating since late 2006 when Djokovic was an unknown quantity to many in tennis.
In stark contrast to the common perception of an everyday WAG, Ristic has forged a career for herself while her man went about his crusade to the top of the world rankings.
Having studied finance in Milan, Ristic now holds a job among the high-flyers in the millionaire’s playground that is Monaco.
Somewhat inevitably, Djokovic’s success has seen interest in the couple rise dramatically over the past two years. Ristic enjoys watching tennis (luckily) and can be seen watching Djokovic in all the major tournaments worldwide.
The glamour couple of tennis appear to have taken the increase in attention well, appearing at many social events as well as the Serbian version of Hello! magazine.
The latest of these events was the Laureus World Sports Awards in London, where unsurprisingly Djokovic was named sportsman of the year. Ristic also turned heads at the event in a black dress.
Djokovic is widely expected to propose some time this year, with a wedding anticipated for 2013.
